Who’s The Informant?

This is an old counter-culture joke from the American 1960s.

Question: “How can you tell who the informant is in your group?”

Answer: “He’s the one suggesting the group should blow stuff up.

As always, the best humor is the truth, with the volume turned up.

This is another in a long line of “plots” in which a key instigator was the Fed informant. I’m not old enough to remember the ’60s, but I’m old enough to remember Ruby Ridge.

I don’t know if you are a bluegrass fan or not, but Peter Rowan did a great song about Ruby Ridge, titled “Ruby Ridge.”

I remember hearing about the song after it came out, but I can’t say I’ve ever heard it. I like listening to bluegrass but am not a fan in the sense of collecting the music or knowing the artists, etc.
