I wouldn’t consider this “sharing” at all - when clicking on the link all I’m presented is a login/password box. How fun.
If you plan to promote member area content, may I either ask you to have a second RSS feed for the non-members, and/or a note in the feed that this is for members only.
It’s just a waste of time to go from Google Reader to your site (as your posts aren’t complete in your feed), to then have to click another link, to then figure out you’re out of luck - and frustrating too.

Feeds are FULL TEXT, including graphics/charts when used, and have been since before this post on Feb 26, 2008. Update your Google Reader link. Or, subscribe via email at the link near the top of the right sidebar.
I did the article for MarketThoughts and am promoting their site on this blog, by linking to the monthly article I do for them.
Theoretically I could offer a different RSS feed for every category of post, including those published elsewhere but authored by me, or potentially membership content of mine; I choose not to, according to my preference. Feel free to choose to read (or not) according to yours …

I think he’s referring to the MarketThoughts link, which requires a username/password to read the article.

Eww, Google is presenting a McCain ad on your site! And it reads, “McCain. A clear record of conservatism.” Maybe Google has a sense of humor? Hahaha!

MarketThoughts has a one-month delay for free access. It’ll still be relevant in a month, if you’re that cheap.
BTW I blocked the McCain ads, along with the “Stock Trading Robot” ads, this morning.
